Re: through hull transducer position on rl24
I have the depth transducer siliconed into the port forward locker with no hole, just held in place by a big dob of silicon with no bubles pointing through the hull forward of the keel.

I have the speed transducer in the wet part of the engine well drilled through the fibreglass but no hole into the yacht. This position might not be best due to turbulance and wake from the outboard but it seems to work fine and I don't have the chance of a leak letting water in the yacht.

The only hole in INMA's hull is the keel case and if that floods we will have to cope.
