Replying to:Cunningham and Boom Vang RL24
What cunningham setup do you have on your RL24's. When I bought 'Kermit' it had a cunningham that I reckon you'd use on a dinghy. Thin cord and light hardware. (I'm guessing it was for the cunningham as I couldn't find anything else!) It had no Boomvang but the attachment for the boom was the same as a Laser, so I have borrowed a laser vang for racing. Both seem to work fine but i'd like a second opinion. eg http://www.ronstan.com.au/marine/cunningham-downhaul_systems.asp http://www.ronstan.com.au/marine/vang_systems.asp http://www.harken.com/rigtips/Cunninghams.php http://www.harken.com/rigtips/BoomVang.php The harken pics are better. Does anyone go to this extent. Mike
