removing keel
Hello, is there an easy way to drop the keel out of my rl28 to check the condition of the pin that holds it in? Do i need a gantry set up. Also what should i look for once it is out.

Re: removing keel
Dale.
It is unlikley that your pivot bolt would need attention, and if you are not troubled by a leak I would leave it alone. It would be a good idea to check on the condition of the connection point where the lifting rod connects to the keel, as that is the potential trouble spot if your boat has been moored with the keel down for a long period.
Go to Tips & modifications---- RL28 keel maintenance, for a better understanding.
