I thought I'd seen a plaque on my boat somewhere showing the construction year and boat number but now I can't find it. Where would it be ?

If your boat is an ex charter boat, and was built in survey, then the information that you are looking for would be at the top of the inside of the transom.
All other boats were alocated a sail number, and these were recorded, unfortunatly over time when sails were replaced a lot of numbers were not.
Some time after 1988 the records were lost.

My boat isn't an ex-charter boat as far as i know...I doubt it given its fit out. So It wouldn't have that information on it anywhere ?
