Poll Question...Were in the world have your RL's traveled?
I haven't seen any online post about RL's making long passages. Would love to hear some stories and were you've been. I would love to trailer mine to Florida and make the day's sail to the Bahamas.

Photo-Enjoying a barrier island; Palmico Sound, NC, USA... Was beached in that pic, Rookie mistake. Came off at high tide at 1:30 am with the help of 2 anchors and the winches.

Good on ya Kyle
Your boat looks beautiful
I would love to hear some of these stories too.
The cruising in an RL section here is great.
I have been told of of an Rl24 that sailed from Darwin to Gove
Another dubious source told me that one sailed all the way to South Australia
I plan on trip to the Tiwi Islands next dry season
Been really busy getting her ready for such things
Can't wait to hear some first hand info

Anybody else cruised in an RL over a long distance? I would love to hear from you and add an article to the "Cruising in an RL" pages.

Re: Poll Question...Were in the world have your RL's traveled?
Previous owners of my RL28 sailed her from Townsville QLD to Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea. She was stationed there for a few years before being sold and then sailed back to Cairns by her new owners. I was lucky enough to find the original Log book when I purchased her here in South Australia, made for some interesting reading. My RL28 (Free Spirit) is a fixed keel version, and has been a ton of fun.

Barry
