RL24 - Hatch
Hi,

I just purchased an 1981 RL24 over here in Melbourne Beach, Florida on the Space Coast (Kennedy Space Center). The hull is in very good shape but the boat still needs some minor work that's underway (new mast step, rewiring, new motor, etc).

We're having some trouble getting a good seal on the front hatch. Does anyone have any pictured handy showing their RL24 hatch closed and open from the inside and outside that could help guide us? Or have any advice regarding this?

Otherwise, we are very exciting to get on the water with this beautifully designed boat.

Kind regards,
Peter

Peter.
The usual way of sealing off the forward hatch was to use a foam backed tape all round, and make sure that the closing clip pulled the hatch cover up tight.
