    Factory built RL28
    G'day,

    Just wondering if anyone can advise me on how you can spot the difference between a factory finished boat, and one finished from a kit. Are there tell tale signs that one can look for.

    If the owner made a good job of finishing off his boat ftom a kit (and many did) then it would be very difficult to detect the difference as the timberwork would only be Teak and all fastenings 316 stainless and the sails, rigging, cordage, etc the same.

    I cannot suggest any obvious difference
