    Building an RL28
    Are there moulds and plans available to build an RL28 from scratch? I have a RL24 and like the design but want more space.

    Sorry David, the moulds no longer exist. Your best bet is to look around for a well-maintained RL28 and try a restoration project instead.

    I thought that might be the case. What would be the youngest RL28 to be sold in Aust?

    It's only a guess but I would think 1988 - the same time as when the last RL24 was built.
    Some people bought them as a hull and deck to home-complete and a few took many years, so there are some around that have had a much short sailing life.
    But probably more important is how they were cared for and if they were always stored on a trailer under cover.
