Replying to:us rl24, a miilion questions.
where can i source replacement portlights. can someone detail the carpet roll treatment for setting boat on the ground. i have to remove the keel to repair the trunk. what is the designed method of mounting a motor in the well. someone tried to glass in a motor mount, not sure what it's supposed to look like.currently has a bodged together arrangement off the stern. ugly and inconvenient. the jib sheet fairleads tracks look wrong, anyone know how they should be set up? or is it purely personnal? mine appear to be too far back, the sheets point to the lower third of the sail.even in the most forward position. any help would be appreciated. i have toured the previous posts, but don't see any mentions of these particulars. I've owned the boat for 5 years and need to do some work on her. previous owners repairs have failed, and it's time to take matters into my own hands. she was run aground keel down at some point in her life. the keel bolt is bent, the medium it is bedded in is no longer sound, likely just glops of hardened epoxy. so a rebuild of the keel trunk is planned.
