    Status 580 leak
    Hi all, I’m looking for help with my status, it leaks through the two flaps (bungs). I’ve replaced the rubber and tightened the robe but it still leaks. Any ideas on what type of rubber I should use? I fell my only other option is to seal the flaps up and put in traditional bungs.

    I use neoprene (wetsuit material) cut to size as the seal on my S580. Works reasonably well with the shock cord nice and tight. The neoprene compresses more than rubber to create a seal.
