RL24 Owners Association seeks your support through becoming a member of the Association.

 

Your membership assists the RL24 Owners Association to:

• Maintain its media presence via its website and the Facebook pages,
• Represent the Class’s and Association’s interests to Australian Sailing,
• Promote the RL24 class as a family friendly Trailable Yacht,
• Promote and support National and State RL24 Championship events,
• Engage in conversations with state level sailing bodies and clubs, and
• Support the North American RL24 owners.

 

This is a courtesy letter regarding your on-going membership to the RL24 Owners Association.

 

The current financial year and membership to the RL24 Owners Association finishes on 30^th June 2024.

The RL24 Owners Association is keen to build a history on as many boats as possible. 

So, we are on a mission to locate as many boats as possible to compile this historical list.
 

If you own or have owned a RL24 that we may not know about, we would love to hear from you.
We are keen to know the boat name, sail number, which MK version she is, and where she might be NOW?

All RL24 owners are invited to participate in the Robb Legg Invitation Series to celebrate his contribution to RL sailing.

 

The Robb Legg Invitation Series is a New Initiative of the RL24 Association and will become a regular part of our sailing calendar each year.

INVITATION TO ALL N.S.W. / A.C.T. RL24 OWNERS

You are invited to join with RL24 sailors at the forthcoming NSW RL24 State Championships.

The Titles are on 16^th and 17^th November 2019.

There will be 3 races sailed on Lake Illawarra.

Sail with us and gain a good understanding of the courses, winds and conditions as part of your preparation for our 47^th National Championships which will be held at Illawarra Yacht Club 5^th – 9^th January 2020.

Visit a club on any weekend

There’s also regular RL24s racing at the Gippsland Lakes, around Melbourne with the Trailerable clubs  and in the Western districts lakes near  Colac. A phone call or email to sort out a road trip and race can lead to a great weekend out.

No doubt you are on top of your regular casual sail given a great summer of sailing weather!

Updated Australian Trailable Yacht and Sports Boat Rule

The latest version of the Australian Trailable Yacht and Sports Boat Rule dated September 2015 has been published following the meeting of the TYSB Technical Committee in July.
The new rule has been uploaded to the Yachting Australia website and can be found here: YA_ATYSB Rule
