Marlay Point Race
I have just come home after watching Simon Walsh and Darryn Dyer come through the finishing line (10 am-ish). It was a very slow race with light winds and then no wind which did not suit the RL24’s. The sea breeze has just kicked in (11-ish) and this is helping to bring the lower CBH rated TY’s home under spinnaker. There were a number of Castle 650’s racing this year and they seem to just love the light stuff, so I think they will beat all the Rl’s on corrected time. I will try and get a copy of the results and post them here. The good news is that there were 170 odd boats entered this year which is a reasonable increase on last year
