    Replying to:Tyres for RL24 Tandem trailer
    I'm an ocean sailor who is brand new to trailable yachts having just purchased a RL24. It came on a tandem trailer with 600X9 6 ply tyres on alloy wheels. One had burst although the ex-owner said it was new. His spare is a 500X10 which looks the same OD. MY question, I can buy three used 10inch rims with fairly good tyres for the same price as a new 600X9 tyre and tube. Which is better? Or are they the same?? thanks heaps. Northern NSW
