    Replying to:Spinnacker Measuring
    Can anyone clarify the spinnacker measurement equeation in the rules for me. I've just acquired a new spinnacker and I'd like to check it's measurements. The equation is: FxL+2/3(G-F)L 1. Is the 2nd half of the equation two thirds of G minus F multiplied by L 2. Is L half the foot. ie the spinnacker is folded in half to take the measurements. Refer to Fig2 in the rules. Thanks Mike
