RL24 mk3 Rudder Issue
Folks my mk3 dagger rudder slides into a stainless steel tube cradar that only had bungee cord holding the aft side of the rudder into the cradle. Is this normal practice or not. Just come back from 3 days sailing and when sailing we picked up sea grass on the leading edge and the drag in the water has pulled the rudder back aft at an angle and stretched the binger cords. Trying to decide to tighten up the cord, replace the cord or remove the cord end weld in a section of tube to make the rudder captive in its cradle Interested to hear how other MK3 rudders have been set up
