New us owner refitting shrouds
I have ubolt shrouds separate upper and lower. I will be replacing them and would like to move them back as they are currently even with mast despite swept back spreaders.Any recommendations I am going to attempt to remove backstay and fly a h16 fully battened main.I am also planning on removing fixed gooseneck and replacing with sliding goose neck. I sail mostle on inland lake in less than 15 knots most of time. I will be trailering to the southeast us coast some. My goals are to Lear to sail well and to beat the j24 in our little sailing club. I come from a whitewater kayaking backround and love pushing the envelope if I can.
