    Replying to:Status 580 moving to Perth WA
    I've got a new job in Perth WA and have to move from NSW / ACT. The removals company gave a quote for transport of our beloved Status 580 'Balaka' which is pretty steep (6,800) and I am wondering whether I should leave it with my family in Canberra and try to get a replacement when I arrive in WA. Just thought I should check with you all in the brains trust about any recommended boat transporters to get it over there for a good price. They will take the car for me easily. I had considered driving it and towing the boat, but am not very keen to spend all that time on the Nullabor! Thanks in advance. Ivan.
