    Replying to:breakage setback
    I am getting close to finally launch my rl28 after extensive refit . Unfortunately while moving boat from its shed I  accidentally broke a stauntion base so am desperately  trying to find a replacement . I would prefer to replace it with an original so if anyone has one in their boxes of bits and prepared to part with it I would be keen to hear from them. In lieu of finding a replacement would anyone know what the alloy would be and if its possible for me to braze or tig weld mine back together , I have oxy / acetylene and tig with argon gas. Location Colac and will be at RL24 Nationals in the new year.
