RL28 Weights
Hi, I currently own a Southern Cross 23, but the RL28 looks like it might just be the ultimate trailerable. Regarding the weight. The bare weight is put at 1350kg. I have spoken to two owners who both say theirs are nearly 3 Tonne on the trailer. That s a touch over 1.5 Tonne for trailer and additional gear. Is that normal, or are these two just heavier than the average? I was hoping the total weight would be below 2.2 Tonne. Thanks for any help you can give. Edit:- Just found the Survey section of this website. Apart from one, looks like up near 3 Tonne is pretty typical. I need to find a new tow bar before going much further down this road. My car is rated at 3.5, but current tow bar only 2.2. Cheers. Regards, Rob.
