I am curently researching the Rob Legg story and I am looking for the one of boat that was built to replace the RL24. It was to be called the RL8 and the proto type was called Beyond 2000. Unfortunatly this was at the time Rob sold his business and the new owners did not put it into production. At last report it was in Townsville and was sailed very successfully there.
Colin, What do you intend to do with this story? I for one would purchase it, if it is to be published. Please let me know (and others on this list) how we may get access to this great info.
P.S. Ive got RL24 No.508 Kandyman, the last RL24 built by Leggy (so I'm told)
