Return to the Forum ListMast Step and Manual Bilge Pump for shower recess - RL28 (1981) | Hi Rob
Have noticed what seems to be the start of a crack appearing on the top side of the plate where the pin goes through the mast step to hold the mast in place. Is this a load bearing part of the mast step - if it is, do you know where can we access a new one?
Also, the hand pump (210mm diam) we use to pump out the shower water has a hole in the diaphram and leaks water into the cabin when used. Do you know who might stock a new one?
My father bought 'Tiki' off you back in the 70's. After many great childhood memories in her and also then in 'Tikinui'(RL28) we finally have one of our own.
Thanks

Mine was repaired by David O'Shea at Speed Propulsion in Brisbane http://www.speedpropulsion.com/. Much cheaper than a new one.
I think the standard hand bilge pump is a Whale Gusher. As Greg says, they are available at any good chandlery. Take the old diaphram as a sample though.
