Just wondering if it is possible to fit a lightweight fibreglass/plastic type stand up spray dodger and full length hardtop with drop down clears/canvas,to the RL28. Ideally it would be similar to a pilot house type boat. Would this have any drastic affect to the yachts handling abilities.

The RL28 was never designed to take a structure such as you describe, it is not big enough, nor is it ballasted sufficiently, the added windage and weight would make the boat potentially unsafe and the sailing ability would be considerably reduced.
