    Boom Vang mast anchor point
    My old mast foot had a hole for a boom vang to be attached. That didn't work well. It wore the drilled hole out. I now have a new mast foot with no allowance for the boom vang to be connected so am wondering if something like the RF 146 mounted near the base of the mast would be sufficient. As the mast base has a stainless collar at the bottom it would probably have to be mounted approx 100 - 125mm above the foot. Any ideas/help would be appreciated.
