Approx weight of an RL24 aluminium mast
My mast seems exceptionally heavy-I have made some gadgets to help raise it however assembling the bits can get a bit tedious-perhaps an easier option is to have a lighter mast. I had a Hobie Getaway previously and one person could easily stand it-the Getaway mast was approx the same height I am not thinking of anything exotic like carbon fibre-aluminium will do. Does anyone have some mast weights-what would be considered the weight of a light mast for example. I have heard that the Hobie 18 mast is suitable for an RL24. Regards Peter ps Perhaps I am just getting weaker with age.
